KOTA, RAJASHTAN 

Kota  formerly known as Kotah, is a city located in the southeast of northern Indian state of Rajasthan It is located Around 250 kilometres (155 mi) south of the state capital, Jaipur. Situated on the banks of Chambal River, it is the third most populous city of Rajasthan after Jaipur and Jodhpur46th most populous city of India and53rd most populous urban agglomeration of India. It serves as the administrative headquarters for Kota district andKota Division. Kota is a major coaching hub of the country for competitive examination preparations and has a number of engineering and medical coaching institutes.
The city of Kota was once the part of the erstwhile Rajput kingdom of Bundi. It became a separate princely state in the 17th century. Apart from the several monuments that reflect the glory of the town, Kota is also known for its palaces and gardens. Mahesh Vijay of Bhartiya Janta Party is the current Mayor of Kota. In 2013, Kota was ranked the second most livable city in the state (after Jaipur) and forty-first in the country among 50 cities. The city was also included among 98 Indian cities for Smart Cities Mission initiated by Indian prime minister Narendra Modi in 2015 and was listed at 67th place after results of first round were released following which top 20 cities were further selected for funding in the immediate financial year.
People just think that kota just only like a study or coaching hub but thats not true dear. its a hub or destination of many students life related to their future but not at all.............
just like kota situated in rajasthan here are many places that you have to must visit. awesome city just want to shopping in old kota, without purchase anything you cannot go anywhere else. After hawarh bridge in kolkata second bridge is going to make on chambal river in kota only.
Not inside the kota only that you can visit, outside from kota many places that you can visit. such like-GADARIYA MAHADEV, GAPERNATH, KHANDESAWR, HANGING BRIDGE, GANGRON SHARIF(jhalawar), ARDHSHILA DARGAH and such a many more. 



PLACES THAT YOU HAVE TO MUST VISIT
JAGMANDIR:


JAGMANDIR situated on the island near C.V garden. it is the most common place that you have to must visit. when you come to railway station that second place that you will see. sourrounding the jagmandir a very beautiful lake is there. Best view to watch in the night.it is one of the beautiful place which you want to see in kota. Outside that lake, it is a round lake and outside that a view just like a marine drive in mumbai. At the time of night you will see a fountain dance and fountain projector cinema at free of cost. Near jagmandir lake a chopati is there where you can enjoy the food such as- FALUDA, CHOLE BHATORE,DOSA, SAMOSA AND many more. In the day time you can do boating and surfing.

C.V GARDEN:
C.V garden just located near JAGMANDIR LAKE. It is most common place in kota where you can enjoy a trip of JOY TRAIN. it is a very huge park and devided into two parts. At the time of morning people comes to there for their health. I mean jogging, walking, running, etc,. their is a man that who provide you free exercise class in early morning and many people are enjoying there. its a fun at free of cost and help to improve your health, who don't want. 

ZOO:
ZOO located near C.V Garden where you can go with their children and you can see many animals from there.

SEVEN WONDERS:
SEVEN WONDERS located near JAGMANDIR LAKE where you can enjoy and can see all seven wonders. A new movie starring- VARUN DHAWAN AND ALIA BHATT, Badrinath ki dulhaniya just complete their kota sechdule in seven wonders only. better view to watch at time of night. 

GAPERNATH:
GAPERNATH located outside the kota(aproxx.12 or 13 kilometer). it is one of the most picnic place that you have to visit. If you love adventure that you have to must go. GAPERNATH temple situated a very long deep dig, you have to go thousand of stairs very deep. when you will reach that place you will find a beautiful pond and fountain which gives you more power to stay for long from there only. A best place to take photos. fountain water fall on the temple which looks sooo stunning. and i am promising you to that you really want go there again and again.

GHADRIYA MAHADEV:

GHADRIYA MAHADEV situtaed on bank of chambal river. this is the place where you can go and take a fountain shower . this temple located on the hill. The way that you go from there,thats so horrible. you will fell like that you are watching movies such as WRONG TURN, KAAL, and such a many more. hahahaha
don't be scare but i am promising you that you ofcourse like that JUNGLE
At ghadriya mahadev SHIV LING is there where drops of water falls on it. May be you can see some animals as well like-deer,chinkara,monkey,tiger(very rare), buffalo,etc.

JAWAHAR LAL DAM PARIYOGNA:
When you will go from there you will fell like that you are watching JURASSIC PARK movie. Most stunning place. at first you will come to down on the hills and after that again you will drive on the hill and to drive from there, you will fell like that you are driving like in shimla or in Nanital.

CHAMBAL GARDEN:
CHAMBAL GARDEN located on bank of the chambal river. it is a picnic spot where you can come and enjoy with your children. here you will see LAKSHMAN JHULA and to cross this very difficult to chat. here you can see crocodile and aligator .

KOTA DAM:
KOTA DAM most common place to go hangout from there. where you can give some food to fish and some piegons and doves.

ADHERSHILA DARGAH;
ADHERSHILA DARGAH located near chambal garden where you can feel some siprtual power as well as some some peace .

HOW CAN WE COME
You can come by road or by train. Every train which goes to mumbai,goa,karnatka,kerla, etc,.would stop there. By road it is 506km far from delhi via mathura and 506km(aproxx) far from delhi via Jaipur 
Nearest airport is Jaipur airport which is 243km from kota. it is an international airport where you can come by some international flights as well

BEST SEASON TO GO:
Best season to go July and September(Mansoon season)
