Difference between Worms, Trojans and Viruses

Hello Friends, have you heard about Worms, Trojans and Viruses . These are types of malware which affects your computer system and reduce performance. They may corrupt your system and delete your data. Now we will discuss what are similarity and differences between Worms, Trojans and Viruses.

Worms: This is the common type of malware. It is similar to Virus as it copies itself and spread in the desktop but it does not need to attach itself to an existing program. Actually, these malicious program exploit vulnerabilities of different software programs and spread through e-mail or other file transmission capabilities found on networked computers. Infected computer generally shows these signs so that you can identify whether your system infected with worms or not if 1) new icons or shortcuts on your desktops 2) slow PC 3) pop-ups appears regularly.

Trojans: Trojans are the helper of all types of malwares. It is a malicious program which infect your system and helps in installing other types of malwares. It is different from viruses and Worms as it not replicates itself. But it helps other malwares by masking their existence so that it appears normal for user.

Virus: It is a malicious code which copy itself in many places of your desktop. It can be copy in another program, computer boot sector and also affects digital documents. It changes and slow down your desktops as it use CPU processing in background. It is capable of corrupting or damaging data. It can steal even your personal details including personal pictures, social security number, credit card details if store in your desktop etc. It can also log your keystrokes which means if you are typing anything, it logs everything.
